Sometimes the amount of online information available to astrology students and practitioners can be overwhelming. Peter Burns offers his 40 year’s experience in helping to prioritise the steps necessary to becoming a competent and effective professional. Peter emphasises clarity and simplicity in finding one’s way through the maze of online information.
We begin by understanding where you are at with your astrological knowledge, then working backwards to fill any gaps and then forward to apply this understanding to best assist clients.
Sessions are conducted on an ‘as needed’ basis. You set the pace and frequency to fit your lifestyle.

The essential dignities & receptions
The concept of receptions is related to the idea of welcoming a visitor to one’s home, as in when one planet visits the home (domicile) of another planet. It’s about the relationship between the host and the guest and what sort of reception the guest receives.
Dignity is like a measure of a celestial body’s power, especially its power to act according to its essential nature, to be itself.
Reception is major consideration associated with essential dignity and underpins the meaning of the aspects. When there is reception between planets in aspect the meaning of the aspect can be completely overturned. But although it is sometimes talked about, many students are mystified by reception and how to use it.
Structure: 7 lessons with associated quizzes plus four 1-hour Zoom sessions with other students

Requirements: Completion of the Astrology Foundation Certificate Course or equivalent knowledge

ASTROLOGY – Palmistry Reading by Peter Burns
Your natal chart, otherwise called your birth horoscope or nativity, is a snapshot of the heavens a at the moment you were born, and provides a guide to understanding your unique gifts, your strengths and those areas of your life that can be challenging. Your hands show how your horoscope plays out in real life.
Astrology and palmistry are an ideal combination and together provide unique insights into your life and the future consequences of your present behaviour.
Requirements
You will need to provide your date of birth, time of birth (note whether am or pm), and your place of birth. If you don’t know your exact birth time, say “unknown birth time”.
You will also need to provide images your hands which should include a close-up of each palm and an overall image of the left and right hand. Each image should be labelled to indicate whether it’s the right or left hand.
Delivery
Your reading is conducted by Zoom. The session usually lasts 45 mins – an hour.
